Real stories
Hello! We are sending you this email, first of all, to thank the entire team at Origyn Fertility Center
Anca O.
On the 14th of September, 2014, at 16.35, a miracle happened in my life. I gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby boy weighing 2,350 kg. None of it would have been possible if a professional team of doctors had not been with me to guide me on this path. To accomplish my goal, my choice was Origyn and I do not regret it.

Tudor Filip’s story. My name is Raluca M. and I am from Suceava. I met Dr Bogdan Doroftei one evening in November 2013 or, to be precise, at 2 o’clock in the night... I went to see him after a doctor from Suceava recommended him as a medical professional who cares. I had already been for a consultation at a clinic in Bucharest and I had started to put together my IVF application there. I had also undergone two surgical interventions for endometriotic cysts and my endometriosis was probably why I was not getting pregnant. I knew from the very first consultation with Dr Doroftei that I would not be returning to Bucharest and that he would do everything that was possible to help me get pregnant...
The Happy Mommy
I knew, because I could see in his eyes how passionate he was for his profession for another aspect crucially important to me: “patient care”. These two qualities convinced me to trust him and his team as the best: Gabi and Radu. And then I met Gerri. I remember when the embryo transfer was carried out and how confident she was when she said that everything was going to be alright because the embryo had done everything it was supposed to do. The story is all the more beautiful given the fact that I had 6 follicles and 4 embryos, ut just one made it to day 5 for the embryo transfer!!! And this was the embryo whose name is now Tudor Filip, born weighing 3,650 kg with the help Dr Doroftei’s team on 07.04.2015, which happened to be both that year’s World Health Day and Origyn’s one-year anniversary since accreditation. It all sounds too good, right? The caesarean section was not at all easy because I had placenta praevia and a very high risk of bleeding...

We managed to help a couple diagnosed with primary infertility obtain their first pregnancy. The infertility was caused by the globozoospermia of the male partner.
Therapeutic Success
Another successful HCG!!! We are thrilled every time we see a couple achieve their dream of obtaining a pregnancy as a result of the treatments we recommend. This time, it was a twin pregnancy following the transfer of thawed embryos.
The success stories continue
From the beginning of the National In Vitro Fertilisation Subprogram, our patients at Origyn Fertility Center benefitted from state subsidies aimed to optimise their chances of having children, most often after many years of failed attempts due to medical conditions which recommended the affected couples for this advanced technology of assisted human reproduction.
Once the specific protocols of in vitro fertilisation were initiated, it did not take long to start seeing the results so highly anticipated by the patients who had placed their trust in this technology. Recently, for example, after a carefully monitored pregnancy which developed normally, our medical team took part in the birth of the first baby conceived by means of IVF funded by this program. We were all the more delighted because Daniela M., our patient, gave birth to a healthy baby boy and this brought much happiness to a family who had been through 5 years of repeated failed attempts before presenting at Origyn Fertility Center with the desire to have a child. This success and all the other positive results motivate us to continue to believe in each couple’s chances of obtaining the desired pregnancy and, consequently, to make full use of every professional training opportunity in order to ensure that the medical services we provide at Origyn Fertility Center meet the highest standards of professional competence in accordance to the latest quality-assurance guidelines from prestigious international clinics specialised in reproductive medicine.
Good news
Our story begins in December 2016, when we first set foot at the Origyn Fertility Center, on my my birthday. As we were both young and healthy, conceiving a child seemed perfectly normal, but life was to give us a lesson we would never forget.
By the time we got to the clinic we had already done the necessary tests and investigations, so we knew we were dealing with a male infertility problem. We kept hoping until the very last minute that I would become pregnant the natural way, but with each passing month we grew increasingly frustrated and powerless, and, although in my heart I did not want to admit it, we knew we had to ask for specialised help. From the very first meeting we were greeted with warmth and optimism by the medical team made of Dr #Doroftei, Dr #Maftei and Dr #Simionescu At the end of the meeting, Dr Doroftei assured us that the next year we were going to be parents and this was enough for us to decide to start the fertilisation procedure at Origyn. In January 2017, we began the first ovarian stimulation procedure, but my body did not respond well to the treatment; of the 6 oocytes that were drilled, only 4 were mature enough to be used. I shall never forget the day when we got to the clinic excited to have the embryo transfer only to learn that, unfortunately, none of the embryos had made it to day 5. Then, during those trying moments, Dr Doroftei encouraged us, hugged us, and proved to us once again that we have made the right choice. After our discussion with him, we decided to give it another try. I felt that, if we had left things as they were, we would have given up on our dream and I did not want to do that. The second time, the story repeated: of another 6 oocytes, only 4 mature ones could be used. This time, however, things were meant to be different and, on the day of the embryo transfer, I had a perfect embryo, the only one left. Two weeks later, Dr Simionescu called me and gave me the most wonderful and highly anticipated news: I was pregnant. The pregnancy went well until week 31, when I found out that I had central placenta praevia, which created a high level of obstetrical risk and the possibility of a premature birth, but our little wonder once again proved how strong she was and, after a month of hospitalisation, at 37 weeks of gestation, I had the caesarean section and gave birth to a wonderful baby daughter weighing 3000g. This year, on my birthday, I am holding in my arms the dearest and most wanted baby girl, our little soul, a miracle from God who worked through the hands of the medical team, to whom we thank from the bottom of our hearts.
